While testing and tasting sweet treats in advance for Valentine Day, are you keeping in check your calorie intake? (What? You never do!!!) Well, me neither!! But I make sure to keep my lunches lite and filling to help me keep my weight under control. Filling smoothies and salads are my best bet when I want to diet or keep a check on my weight. As long as you are using no-fat ingredients and making filling smoothies to avoid snacks cravings, trust me, you don’t need to look at calories of everything.

I call this one my blackberries-yogurt blast smoothie. Antioxidant rich blackberries with natural probiotics from yogurt and lite sweetness and creaminess from banana keeps me full longer and makes me feel good while continuing testing new recipes and sharing all awesomeness with you and my family.

This no fat, healthy, lite and delicious smoothie can also be great for breakfast. I often prefer low-fat yogurt but sometimes I also use almond milk for this berry blast. Yogurt or almond milk both are best base ingredients to make delicious yet healthy smoothies. You can also try blueberries instead of blackberries or combination of both. So choose your ingredients, make it your own and enjoy a glass of health every day!!
